Politics is personal

One's right to happiness, equal protection for federal and state spousal and parental benefits, validation as a human, and ability to live authentically aren't a bargaining chip or political pawns.

Although I don't live in Pittsburgh, my son now does, and you represented him. That precious morning allowed him to become the man he was always meant to be. We just needed the court system to recognize it legally.

I'll never be able to fully thank you for all you did, except to say our family is forever grateful for your work for our son/brother/grandson/nephew. You should be elected to be sitting on the bench, and I hope and pray each person who can vote for you does!
